When taught well, it becomes a method of understanding movement, building awareness and developing strength from the inside out.
These sessions are designed with the same level of detail and intention as studio work. Clear instruction, careful observation and genuine teaching; not a workout to follow along to. Each class builds on the last, giving you a consistent practice that actually develops over time.
This is not a fitness app. It is not a YouTube video. It is a guided weekly practice led by a Comprehensive Pilates Coach with over 30 years of experience, available to you wherever you are in the world.

Choose a drop-in session or a practice pass. You will receive Zoom access details by email straight after booking.

Yes. Mat Pilates builds core strength, control and flexibility using bodyweight alone. It is also a wonderful way to build the mind-body connection, training you to better understand where you are in space, known as proprioception.
A full 60-minute mat practice, whenever you can fit it in, makes for a well-rounded workout. But the real strength of mat work is that even 10 minutes a day is genuinely beneficial. Roll out your mat, move for 10 minutes, then carry on with your day, far more achievable on a busy day than getting hot and sweaty at the gym. What matters most is consistency. Consistency tends to matter more than duration. A shorter, focused practice done regularly can build strength and body awareness over time, particularly when paired with the weekly guided sessions.
This depends on what you're looking for. Live guided sessions with direct feedback suit people who want proper form correction and progression, while pre-recorded content suits flexible, self-paced practice. Shaw Lifestyle's Pilates Foundations offers a weekly guided live class with 7-day replay access, combining both.
Free content exists, but it typically won't offer personalised feedback on form or progression. Shaw Lifestyle's Online Mat Pilates starts from £6.50 per class, with monthly and multi-month options, giving structured guidance at low cost compared to in-studio sessions.

Progress rarely comes from intensity alone. Often it comes from consistency, awareness and giving the body the right input over time.
